As the Department of Biology Education, we had the pleasure of crossing paths once again—this time in Portugal—with the esteemed family of our 2006 graduate, Bahar Candemir. We were delighted to meet her dear mother, Mrs. Leman, and her brother, Mr. Ahmet, during a pleasant journey from Porto to Lisbon.
We experienced once more that the bond we have built with our graduates is not limited to their years as students; it continues with the same warmth across years, cities, and even countries.
