Professor O. Serhat İREZ

Serhat İrez was born in 1975 in Eskişehir. After completing his primary and secondary education in Eskişehir, he graduated from the Department of Biology at Osmangazi University in 1997. He completed his master’s degree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, focusing on Teacher Professional Development, and earned his PhD at the same university in the field of Teacher Education in Science.

His research interests include history and nature of science in science education, teacher education, and teacher professional development. He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Biology Education at Atatürk Faculty of Education, Marmara University.
